These are the few definitions gotten from dictionary.com.
I grew up visiting temples and burning incense and celebrating a whole lot of Chinese festivals.
Still i can't bring myself to believe in Buddhism totally.
I believe in all sorts of things.
I believe this earth and everything that happens is nothing but an experiment made by this group of godlike intelligence beings somewhere in the galaxy.
I believe life is a miracle.
I believe in unconditional love from parents and repaying them in some other ways.
Perhaps these are my beliefs at the moment and they might just change the next minute.
Jonathan Ng was right, we always try to impose beliefs onto others, and depending on the mental strength of the people being imposed on, they may or may not be influenced. I would like to say that we should try to choose whatever that suits us.
Strong-minded people are ususlly the ones influencing the weak-minded people.
And depending on the how powerful the person with the beliefs is, some of these beliefs become laws, governing the country.
So I wonder which figures were so strong and powerful to have everyone obsessed over monogamy, fairness, justice, oh and, the recent feminism.
And love. The concept of love is distorted. Like a story being told down the line of people, it twists and turns.
Does it mean that if one's way of thinking is completely different from the rest, he or she is wrong?
There is no right or wrong in this world. The earth is actually not round. Pluto is not a planet.
It takes forever to debate which chicken exist first or egg appear first.
I'm so tired even thinking these. People say "why think so much?" Then when bad things happen they say, "why never use brain?"
People say, people say.. blahblah..
I think I can take forever thinking about life and stuff. Maybe I should take up philosophy, though I know l will doze off reading confucianism.
